Your Sailing Holiday in the Grenadines, the Leeward, Windward or the Virgin Islands will commence with a welcome and complimentary rum punch with snacks.

On arrival you will have a tour and information about the charter yacht (see below).

If self catering, you will  have the opportunity to shop for the week.  Then, you can settle in, relax on board or swim in the warm Caribbean waters.

Please note that on request we can provision food for you in advance.

For Catered Charters

From Yacht Calliope's well equipped galley, Fernando will treat you to the tastes and aroma of his gourmet cooking expertise from his varied and tantalizing menu.

Being a professional gourmet chef, Fernando likes to serve dinner promptly at 7.30pm to ensure that your meal is at it's best.  This is the only schedule we try to stick to on this yacht charter as the experience of gastronomy plays an important part.

Please inform us of any food and drink preferences at least a week before commencement of the charter.

Fernando will do his best to obtain these but please note that some food and drinks are not always available in the Islands and some are available only in season.

Dining usually takes place in the comfortable cockpit under the bimini awning, otherwise in the spacious dining area below which seats up to 8.

Geri will arrange the schedule for the remainder of the charter with you and advise you of sailing directions to coincide with the wind and sea conditions.

Description of our Charter Yacht in the Grenadines

Of the 4 guest cabins, one cabin has a double bed, one has a queen size bed with a foldaway berth above. The other 2 cabins have 2 single berths in each. There is ample hanging and locker space in all the cabins.

There are 2 guest bathrooms, each with it's own head and shower. There is also a shower on the aft deck.

The deep cockpit is the most popular place to dine in the warm open air, and under the stars in the evening.

The Galley is well equipped with a large stove, fridge and freezer, toaster, coffee maker, blender and microwave.

WHAT TO BRING on your yacht charter ?

PASSPORTS

DRIVERS' LICENCE, if you want to hire a car.

Lots of shorts and swimwear

SHORTS are OK to go ashore, however bikini tops are frowned upon by many locals, so bring COVER UPS.

If you want an evening on shore, casual wear is fine but for the finer restaurants, shirts and long pants are acceptable.

SOFT LUGGAGE, please as we do not have the storage space for suitcases and if you cannot fit all your clothes in one bag, then you are trying to bring too much !

You will not need shoes on the boat.

NO OILY SUNSCREENS please, to avoid damage to upholstery.

Feel free to bring your favourite CD'S / DVD'S or IPODS. We have IPOD/MP3 connection to our stereo.
