Charter Yacht Vacation in the Virgin Islands

Geri & Fernando aim to make you feel 'at home' on your Yacht Charter Vacation in the Virgin Islands, be attentive to your needs at the same time respecting your privacy.   They will take you on a sailing adventure to new anchorages each day, unless you prefer to stay longer in a favourite place.

Your Yacht Charter in the Virgin Islands, St.Maarten or the Grenadines will commence at 12.noon on your chosen day.

You will be welcomed by Geri & Fernando with a rum punch.

After being given a tour and information about the yacht (see below), you will be served lunch.

Depending on time availability Calliope will sail to another anchorage where you can relax on board or swim in the warm Caribbean waters.

Being a professional gourmet chef, Fernando likes to serve dinner promptly at 7.30pm to ensure that your meal is at it's best.  This is the only schedule we try to stick to as the experience of gastronomy is an important part of this yacht charter.

Please inform us of any food and drink preferences at least a week before commencement of the charter.

Fernando will do his best to obtain these but please note that some food and drinks are not always available in the Islands and some are available only in season.

From Calliope's well equipped galley, Fernando will thrill and  delight you with the tastes and aroma of exquisite gourmet cooking from his varied and tantalizing menu (see below).

Dining usually takes place in the comfortable cockpit under the bimini awning, otherwise in the spacious dining area below which seats up to 8.

Geri will arrange the schedule for the remainder of the charter with you and advise you of sailing directions to coincide with the wind and sea conditions.

Please note that self catering and skippered only charters are also available. See Pricing page for details.

WHAT TO BRING on your yacht charter ?

PASSPORTS

DRIVERS' LICENCE, if you want to hire a car.

SHORTS are OK to go ashore, however bikini tops are frowned upon by many locals, so bring COVER UPS.

If you want an evening on shore, casual wear is fine but for the finer restaurants, shirts and long pants are acceptable.

SOFT LUGGAGE, please as we do not have the storage space for suitcases and if you cannot fit all your clothes in one bag, then you are trying to bring too much !

You will be living in swimwear or shorts and little tops (ladies!) most of the time.  You will not need shoes on the boat.

NO OILY SUNSCREENS please, to avoid damage to upholstery.

Feel free to bring your favourite CD'S / DVD'S or IPODS. We have IPOD/MP3 connection to our stereo.
